About the Institute

Building the profession of mentorship.

Mission

To professionalize mentorship — through standards, credentials, and community — for the benefit of every mentee, everywhere. We exist because mentorship has never had a body of knowledge, a code of ethics, or a shared credential the way medicine, law, and project management do. IME is that body.
